DC-DC converters
The voltage required for direct current (DC) can vary considerably onboard a yacht. A bow thruster or a winch installation often works at 24 V. But navigation and communication equipment mostly requires 12 V. By using a DC-DC converter other voltages than applied in your basic system can be reached. They also ensure that all your onboard equipment has a stable power supply with the right voltage. The Mastervolt DC-DC converters will be converting for comfort.
Mastervolt offers two lines of DC-DC converters, the professional range(Mac and Magic) and the DC Master range .
Mac and Magic series
Best of its class products, designed for operation under extreme conditions like high ambient temperatures and use of sensitive products.
DC Master series
This product range is designed for use in ‘normal’ applications, in a conditioned environment. The economic DC Master products are suitable for non critical loads like radios, halogen lights, etc.
